New Paintings

For most of my painting career I have worked in a series of paintings which pushes me to explore a set of ideas until I'm not learning anything new, I'm bored, I'm not at least a little surprised by what I see happening in the paintings, or I'm afraid to go any further. It takes a number of paintings to experiment with all the possibilities of a given set of ideas. Each of these paintings are created by applying many layers of acrylic on heavy Arches paper.
